Today I’m giving you permission to let yourself off the hook because that’s what I did. As moms, we shouldn’t beat ourselves up for something we did or didn’t do because we just didn’t know.
As a new mom, I expected there to be sleepless nights and lots of crying – mainly my daughter, but also me. And when things were hard, and I mean really hard, those first two months after my daughter was born, I thought maybe being a mom just IS this difficult.
My daughter’s two-month checkup at the pediatrician confirmed my worst fears though. Something was not right and I was clueless while my daughter suffered.
In this episode
- I talk about the challenges I encountered breastfeeding a baby after months of struggling with her sleeping, eating, and endless crying
- How we got the dairy protein allergy diagnosis
- What we did to turn things around and get going in the right direction (her and me)
- Where we are now with dairy in our diets. Hint – I did NOT have a good experience with dairy-free pizza!
