I recently listened to an episode of Amy Porterfield’s podcast, Online Marketing Made Easy, about the morning routines of successful entrepreneurs that she knew personally.
And I found it fascinating. I listen to her podcast a lot, and I thought that one, in particular, sounded intriguing. I was curious to see “behind the curtain” of these successful entrepreneurs’ lives.
Maybe I could learn some new tricks or inspiration to start to get my act together in the mornings. But I will share with you that what I
heard in that episode was SO much better than that.
What I heard from these successful and well-known entrepreneurs who have families was that they DIDN’T have a rigid morning routine where they got up at 4:00 AM and worked out for an hour and read their Bible for an hour in peace and quiet before their kids got up and started the day in this peaceful place where they just felt like they were going to accomplish EVERYTHING in their day.
Nope, that’s not what they were talking about. And it was so affirming and reassuring to hear people talk about their very real and attainable routines and rhythms for the day.
Several listeners have asked me about MY daily routines with two little ones in the house. And after hearing Amy’s episode, it inspired me to share with you for the same reason I enjoyed that episode.
So you don’t feel like you’re behind. Or that you have to do what other people do.
In this episode, I’m going to share with you MY morning and nightly routines. A little “peek behind the scenes” of my daily life in case you’re interested.
I talk about
- My morning routine
- My nightly routine
- When I find time to work on the podcast and projects
- My tips for creating your own routines and rhythms
