My guest on this episode of the Gotcha Mama podcast is mom, wife, and super smart, no-nonsense marriage coach for moms, Michelle Purta.
Michelle gives some amazing advice on how to navigate a healthy marriage with little kids running around the house.
She is on a mission to help moms empower themselves to create the marriage they want, so they can have a thriving relationship. Even while raising young kids.
She believes that you can have the partnership, connection, and joy that you desire as a mom.
I thought it was timely that the original release date for this episode is right after Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day happens to be one of my least favorite holidays. ‘Cause it’s a sham, my friend! It’s really is just a ploy by card and candy companies to make more money.
You should genuinely show and tell people how much you love and appreciate them EVERY. DAY. OKAY? Okay. Cue conversation about effective communication and connection in your marriage…
We haven’t talked much about marriage on the show yet, and well, it’s TIME!!
More about the guest
Michelle Purta is happily married and she and her husband have two boys – one who is her stepson, with a little girl on the way this Spring.
She’s passionate about helping moms become happier in their marriage using a life coaching approach.
Her parents didn’t have healthy communication or a solid foundation together. And as a result, Michelle carried that example into every relationship she had.
Once she became a mom, she quickly lost herself, like many moms do. And found her marriage becoming disconnected.
For years, she put in a lot of inner work to unlearn what she observed in her childhood in her parent’s relationship. She deeply wanted her children to have a strong foundation to work from. And to enjoy her marriage.
Now she empowers moms to be happier in their marriages by being authentically themselves!
