Do you like what you see when you look in the mirror?
For me, that probably depends on the day. Did I get enough sleep? Am I stressed about something? Did I just rock an awesome workout?
My guest on this episode is Jennifer Duvall of JennySue Makeup. She is a mom and a makeup artist so she has a unique perspective on seeing the beauty in herself and other women.
Jennifer is a wife, mom of three, business owner, beauty blogger, and podcaster.
I was introduced to Jennifer’s makeup blog from a co-worker of mine in 2010. I immediately connected with her fun and upbeat style. And I have been following her ever since.
Jennifer started her business, JennySueMakeup, in 2008 right after the birth of her second child.
After a little more than ten years, her business and her blog have grown to include incredible opportunities such as: working on a music video set for Dierks Bentley and being asked to be the beauty expert on a morning show during Fashion Week in 2017.
Jennifer is so fun and, friend, she makes over 40 look fabulous!
We talk about:
- How she built and runs her makeup business as a mom of three
- The importance of loving yourself FOR your kids
- Her favorite inexpensive and painless way to look younger
- Comparison and the unrealistic beauty expectations that bombard us as women and moms
