It’s November and I’ve wanted to do something since last November.
ALL month long is NO THANKS November!
Ok, you may be wondering what in the world is ‘No Thanks November’? Is that like no shave November?!
Not exactly.
And you’re probably also thinking, “Isn’t it supposed to be the month we focus on how thankful we are?”
It is.
Sometimes you say ‘no thanks’ to things BECAUSE of the things you’re grateful for.
Follow me on this…
I know it seems strange.
This is about saying NO to some things in order to say YES to better things. To those things that bring more peace, joy, and contentment.
You can absolutely be grateful for what you have and at the same time say ‘no thanks’ to things.
For example, ‘no thanks’ to negative self talk because you are grateful for the dreams and skills you have.
Or “no thanks” to adding another activity for your kids to do during the week because you are grateful for the time you have with your family.
And after this crazy year of 2020, I feel like it could be really cathartic to just say you know what this month I’m saying ‘NO Thanks’ to those things that aren’t serving me in my life right now.
So again, absolutely be grateful for all the things you have, and also allow yourself to say ‘NO THANKS’ to those things that aren’t serving you and the life you want to lead.
I talk about
I’ve got some great interviews this month that all fall into the ‘NO Thanks’ category:
- Living a life with no bucket list- just living life in the present moment.
- Saying no to excuses for not taking care of yourself and negative self-talk.
- Literally saying NO to set healthy boundaries. (All the praise hands!!)
- Not letting circumstances in your life control you. And saying no thanks to toxic relationships in your life.
Stay tuned for all these amazing interviews!!
