On today’s episode, I’m talking with mom and Physical Therapist, Katherine Sylvester. We get REAL today! We talk about what really happens to our bodies as moms during pregnancy and childbirth.
You WILL hear words like “vagina”, “penetration”, “sex,” and all kinds of other biologically correct terms used. So you might not want to listen to this episode without earbuds around the kids. Unless you’re ready for a real graphic “birds and the bees” story. Know what I’m sayin?!
Katherine works with moms to help them rediscover their physical strength and confidence.
To this end, her program focuses on muscle flexibility, urinary continence, sexual fulfillment (hey!), internal confidence, and core stability.
She’s passionate about debunking the myth that childbirth means having to wear pads, losing your abs, having low energy, and not feeling sexy anymore.
We got into so much good stuff that I had to make a part 2. The rest of the conversation will be a Q&A with Katherine in next week’s episode.
If you don’t walk away from this episode having learned something new, you weren’t paying attention!
