Gotcha Mama podcast episode 49 – Saying ‘NO’ In Order to Embrace the Better ‘Yes’ with Megan Stratton

“As a mom, you can have it all, BUT, you can’t have it all at once.”

I know you’ve heard that before.

But do you believe it? Does hearing that make you feel defeated before you begin or does it fire you up to prove it wrong?

AND what does ALL really include anyway?

You’re the only one who can decide what you want for your life. And you’re also the only one who can set up and hold firm boundaries and goals to work toward that vision.

My guest this week on the Gotcha Mama podcast is Megan Stratton. Megan feels strongly that you CAN have it all as a mom. And she shares how she manages her priorities to achieve that in her life as a full-time working mom (with a side hustle/passion) to a toddler and one on the way.

More about the guest

Megan is a wife, mama, and corporate full-time digital marketer. She has been in the digital marketing industry for almost a decade and loves to share her industry knowledge with other women looking to grow their business, increase sales, and make a big impact!

She is also a course creator, one on one coach, and co-host of the top-rated, Unshaken Podcast. Megan is a Christian who feels that it’s her calling and purpose to help women form community.

When she isn’t working, you can find her and her family hanging out by the water in Chattanooga, TN.

We talk about

  • What sparked her desire to create a supportive community of moms and women
  • Her perspective on being a mom and being able to ‘have it all’
  • The biggest challenge she faces as a working mom of a toddler and one on the way
  • Her top 3 tips for getting so many things done & feeling accomplished

More about the Gotcha Mama Podcast:

The Gotcha Mama Podcast is where we share honest stories of the joys and struggles of mom-life with young kids.

Each week host Amanda Bennett interviews a mom about topics ranging from awkwardly making mom friends, to chasing BIG dreams and finding purpose, to managing crippling anxiety and depression. You’ll hear stories from moms like you with the purpose to inspire, encourage, and entertain you.

We understand that motherhood can be lonely and make you doubt yourself. The Gotcha Mama Podcast exists to let you know that you are not alone as a busy mom of young kiddos, no matter what you’re dealing with.

The show is all about tearing down our insecurities as moms by honestly sharing our stories and a little of what we’ve learned along the way.

We believe it’s a whole lot better riding the rollercoaster of motherhood together!
