Nod your head in agreement if this has been you…
You get so frustrated and fed up with all the stuff in your house that you have to constantly pick up. It’s covering all available surfaces.
And all you want is a clean, peaceful, clutter-free space so you can concentrate and relax.
So, you go on a decluttering frenzy.
If it doesn’t “spark joy” or been used in the last 12 months, it’s GONE!
The 10 extra shampoo bottles under your bathroom sink…gone.
The fancy shoes you bought on clearance because you “just knew” that you would have “somewhere” to wear them (but never did!) and still have the price tag on them…gone.
The tiny, cheaply made toys that you got at the fast food restaurant that got played with once for 30 seconds…FINALLY gone.
After a week’s worth of time and effort, your house feels lighter, YOU feel lighter and more relaxed. And you have a crip new $20 bill in your pocket from selling TWO CARLOADS WORTH OF STUFF.
Oh well, it’s out of your house, right?
And two months later…
You notice things starting to pile up again.
Your recycling bin is slowly filling up with various sized Amazon shipping boxes. And cheap, tiny toys seem to have multiplied.
Ugh! Are you kidding me?
Well, tune in because my guest on this episode, Krista Lockwood, knows all about how to declutter and stay decluttered FOR GOOD.
Krista teaches moms how to declutter their homes so they have more time and energy for the people inside of it, instead of spending all the time on the stuff. She’s a mom of littles herself and always keeps it real when talking about decluttering your home with messy kids living in it!
She became passionate about decluttering after a cross-country move and has been living a decluttered life since then.
