Gotcha Mama podcast episode 37 – How to Use Your Strengths For a More Joyful Life with Kaylan Thompson

Stop for a second! Now list out your strengths.

Are you using those on a daily basis to bring joy to your life as a mom and the lives of your family and people around you?

Are you tapping into those strengths to make your life and motherhood less stressful?

You can use your strengths in SO many areas of your life, not just business.

AND, even more amazing, you can partner with other people to compliment your strengths and your limitations to pursue a common purpose.

Again, don’t just think about this in a business setting! It can be in your home with your spouse and kids, in your community organizations you volunteer with, your friend group, your church family, etc.

Imagine life feeling more joyful and less stressful. You stop forcing yourself to do things that don’t align with what you’re really great at in order to reach the goals you have.

My guest on today’s Gotcha Mama podcast episode is Kaylan Thompson. She is a team-building and hiring consultant who helps business owners (entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, small businesses, and large businesses alike) to make strategic hires.

She is a smart, super creative, business savvy mom to a toddler.

Her passion for building teams and communities of support is contagious. It goes way beyond building businesses!

More about the Gotcha Mama Podcast:

The Gotcha Mama Podcast is where we share honest stories of the joys and struggles of mom-life with young kids.

Each week host Amanda Bennett interviews a mom about topics ranging from awkwardly making mom friends, to chasing BIG dreams and finding purpose, to managing crippling anxiety and depression. You’ll hear stories from moms like you with the purpose to inspire, encourage, and entertain you.

We understand that motherhood can be lonely and make you doubt yourself. The Gotcha Mama Podcast exists to let you know that you are not alone as a busy mom of young kiddos, no matter what you’re dealing with.

The show is all about tearing down our insecurities as moms by honestly sharing our stories and a little of what we’ve learned along the way.

We believe it’s a whole lot better riding the rollercoaster of motherhood together!
